From a right natural posture (migi shizentai), break
Uke’s balance to his right front corner (migi mae sumi) by applying
tsurikomi with both of your hands. Your left hand should be pulling
Uke's right sleeve shoulder-level (Uke's) horizontally. Your right hand
should be lifting Uke's left lapel while your elbow is inserted under
Uke's left armpit to provide ample lift for the technique. Uke should
rise to the toes of his right foot with this action. |

Advance your left foot between his legs to about
where Uke's right foot resides. Now place your hips and legs as in Hane
Goshi. At the same time, make sure Uke’s body is brought close to your
right armpit by the action of your hands. As you begin to lift Uke, let
go of Uke’s lapel with your right hand raising that hand and arm over
Uke’s head and to your left – almost as if you were going to execute a
forward rolling ukemi. Twist your body down to the mat onto your right
side strongly, winding Uke’s body over yours in a whip-like fashion.
Your left hand should never cease to pull Uke as tight as possible,
never allowing 'ANY' space between you and Uke.
Special Note; This throw is a combination of Soto Makikomi and Hane
Goshi, utilizing the spring of Hane Goshi and the winding-to-the-mat
action of Soto Makikomi for full effectiveness. |

KAKE |

| |
As you drive your right hand in a counter-clockwise
circle towards your left foot, use your right leg and hip to spring Uke
off of the mat. Uke should rotate over your right leg and fall to the
mat beside you still clinging to your back. You and Uke should land on
the mat at about the same time with Uke's right arm pinned below your
right side. |
